PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
- Development for a governmental organization responsible for managing and developing critical systems related to customs services;
- The project’s leading technologies are .NET, React, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, GitLab, unit testing frameworks;
- The project methodology is Agile Scrum (Jira).
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Working across the full software stack, including database, backend, and frontend development;
- Implementing features using PostgreSQL for database management, .NET for backend services, and React for frontend development;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and ensure system reliability;
- Optimize performance and security for high-volume transaction systems related to customs and post operations;
- Integrate with third-party APIs and legacy systems, ensuring smooth functionality within the governmental ecosystem;
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and managing version control with GitLab.
APPLY FOR THE JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, preferably within governmental, customs, or logistics systems;
- Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems;
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices, including testing, documentation, and security;
- Work experience as part of a Scrum-based Agile team;
- Good command of the English language;
- An opportunity to work in the Latvian timezone or near (GMT ’till GMT+4).
BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Experience with Oracle solutions;
- Knowledge of AI integration and its application to governmental or logistics systems;
- Previous experience working in governmental or highly regulated environments;
- Familiarity with customs and postal service regulations and standards.
